That was another cracker of a CORC club XC race!
87 riders fronted up for race #4 of the 2017 XC series at East Kowen today. They were served up with another ripper of an event with perfectly cool and sunny conditions combining with and a deceptively challenging XC course. The 7.0km of track, designed by Nathan Carroll, was a nice mixture of fire road, single-track climbing and descending. Many a rider today experienced some of the unforgiving East Kowen surface that presented plenty of sharp edges, rocks and roots causing flats galore.
