Female mountain biker

CORC is excited to host the 2025 AusCycling MTB National Series in Cross Country and Downhill in Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra.

Dates:

Friday 28 February: National Series Round 5, XC. Format: XCC, all categories, including U13 support race. Adaptive XC race on Friday on the XCC course. DHI Official Practice.

Saturday 1 March: National Series Round 6, XC, all categories, U15 and up. Format: XCO. DHI Official Practice. Adaptive DH race.

Sunday 2 March: DHI Official Practice in the morning, then National Series Downhill Round 3 in the afternoon. National Series Round 7. Format: XCO, all categories from U15 and up, UCI Junior World Series for U19.

This year, there is a race for everyone. We’re starting on Friday with the popular XCC format with categories from U13 and up.

On Saturday, racers will test their climbing and descending skills on Cardiac Arrest and Hammerhead. Rumor has it that the 2025 course will be easier than what it was in 2024.

On Sunday, we’re using an easier course that is suitable for all levels of riders. If you think Saturday’s race course is too hard, this is the race for you.

The downhillers will use an exciting course in Stromlo that will test their skills and speed. Knowing how dry and dusty it can be in summer, it will for sure be great racing.
