CORC Women’s Development short course

CORC Women’s Development short course: Technical Downhill is now taking registration. Information regarding the course can be found below. Cost: $220 Date: 17 July – 21 August

First session: Sunday 17 July at 3pm – 5pm Sessions will be held weekly

Last session: Sunday 21 August at 3pm – 5pm

Sessions: 2 hours with limited numbers

Where: Meet at Mt Stromlo Pavillion

This course is suitable for women who are intermediate mountain bikers and would like to improve their technical riding abilities. This course will focus on skills required for tackling technical downhill sections of trail including cornering, negotiating rock gardens, drops and loose terrain.

This courses will be designed to give riders lots of practice in these skills in a safe and supportive environment, so if you’ve ever had to get off and walk a section then this is for you.

This is not a ‘Downhill’ riding course, but a course for learning techniques for riding downhill on xc bikes including hardtails and dual suspension.

All participants will also be given three free entries into CORC XC or 3 hour races to be used over the next 12 months.

Cancellation policy Participants will be reimbursed the full fee up to 7 days prior to the course. Cancellations within 7 days may receive reimbursement, if possible at the discretion of the organisers.
