Annual General Meeting Documents

Hi All,

As required by the Associated Incorporation Act, the financial statements for 2008 and 2016 have been delivered, meaning the AGM can now go ahead.

In early 2016, the ACT Office of Regulatory Services (ORS) requested that we provide a copy of the audited financial report for 2008. This came as a surprise to the Committee, both past and present. A lot of work went into locating the members of the Committee of the time, and I would like to thank those people for their efforts in locating information. Over a period of several months we gathered as much information as we could, and supplied it to our Auditor.

Given the time that has passed, the level of information we have been able to deliver is not that which we would be expected to hold in our current years. This was further hampered by the fact that in 2008 CORC had significant activity with the Scott 24 Hour and World Cup/Championships. Thanks to a lot of investigative work by the auditor, we are able to have confidence in the figures in the audited account present below, this confidence is bolstered as the figures all match up very closely with the bank account records of the period.

At the AGM, we will be asking that  you, the CORC Members, accept these records so that we may submit them to the ORS. Please feel free to have a read of the account and submit any questions to [email protected]

Along with the 2008 statements, we have also prepared the 2016 audited statements. The 2016 accounts have been much easier to prepare than those in previous years, thanks to the much improved record keeping and other financial processes developed by the Club’s Treasurer and Bookkeeper. Please feel free to have a read of the account and submit any questions to [email protected]
