The National Series is Australia’s leading CX competition\, bringing riders together from across the country for fast\, technical and exciting racing. Across seven rounds\, the Series highlights the best of Australian cyclo-cross with challenging courses\, passionate crowds and top-level competition. It all leads to the final round at CX Ballarat\, held as part of the 2026 National Championships weekend.\n\nAs part of the National Series\, this event gives riders the chance to earn valuable points toward the overall standings while racing against some of Australia’s best cyclo-cross competitors. SUMMARY:ACT Schools MTB Championships
DESCRIPTION:CORC is proud to host The 2026 ACT Schools Mountain Bike Championships to be held on Friday 28th August 2026\, at Stromlo Forest Park. The event is delivered by Canberra Off-Road Cyclists (CORC) through affiliation with AusCycling. The event is committed to kids of all levels having fun on bikes. \nThe event is open to students in years 6 to 12\, from the ACT and interstate. We are expecting about 550 riders\, with over half coming from outside the ACT. The event is a relay race over 4-hour\, for teams of 3 or 4 riders\, in categories of Junior (Yr 6-8)\, Senior (9-10) and College (11-12)\, by male\, female and mixed.
