6/3/2020: POSTPONED!

After all the rain this week some areas of the course are really wet and boggy. In consultation with SFP we have decided to postpone the CX crit this Saturday to avoid damage. We will try and reschedule this, more details to come. CORC CX team

Our 2nd Cyclocross Crit is coming up on Saturday 7 March at Stromlo.

These are short, fun races and are open to anyone with a CA or MTBA license. Haven’t got a Cyclocross bike? Don’t worry, mountain bikes are allowed in all grades except A-grade.
From 1pm: We will have a build session to extend the course, and smooth out some of the sections we built last time around.

From 5pm: Crit racing. If you helped build the course you race for free, otherwise entries are $5. On the day entries only. All riders needs to be MTBA or CA licensed. Depending on numbers we will run C grade (12 min target time), B grade (15 min target time) and A grade (20 min target time).
The start and rego will be at the intersection of Holden’s Creek and the bike path. Planned race schedule is as follows:
5:00 – C Grade
5:20 – B Grade
5:40 – Kids Race
5:50 – A Grade
