With only 1 week to go, the National Round Tier 1 Race Weekend is coming closer. On Friday we have an action packed evening with the Cross Country Short Course (XCC) Race. This event is open for U13 riders up to Master 7+. The course is fun and fast and is designed as a non-technical course with plenty of passing opportunities. The Handlebar Cafe will be open with refreshments and live music. Grease Monkey and Mr Papas are coming to put on food from 5:30pm with live music from 7pm. A social ride for the non-racers will also take place in Stromlo to finish back at the Cafe around 6.30pm.
XCC info and entry link is availabe on EntryBoss.
On Saturday there will be practice for Sunday’s XCO race from 10am. This is a race not to be missed, either as a racer or spectators. Australia’s best XCO racers will for sure demonstrate how to ride the world famous Cardiac Arrest climb and Hammerhead descent. The course map is now online. The U15 riders up to Master 7+ will also power up the same course battling it out for MTBA National Cup points. Don’t miss the action. The XCO race is open from U15 riders up to Masters 7+. Please note that the call up for the XCO will be based on results from the XCC in all categories except the Junior Men and Junior Women (U19).
XCO info and entrylink is available on EntryBoss.
